Psalm 119:130 (KJV)

130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Psalm 77:12 (KJV)

12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

The word of God is the answer to all the questions of life. Whatever you may be going through, the solution is in the word of God. As we are reading the scripture the Holy spirit is present to teach us what the word of God is saying to us Individually.

Meditation is thinking through something you have seen or heard. We must train and discipline ourselves to focus on the word of God; we live in the era of information and therefore there are many things that compete for our attention. From social media to current news and other interests, everything is at the click of a button. It is therefore our responsibility to train ourselves to focus on the word of God and give it attention. Meditation involves reading the word of God, committing it to memory and pondering on it over and over again. Like a cow after having been out to pasture chews curd over and over again, mutter the words to yourself and form pictures with what the word says. For example, if you are trusting God for healing find scripture that say you are healed, say it over and over again to yourself, form pictures and see yourself healed. The scripture has healing ability and it contains the power of God. Practice meditation on the word of God and see your life change for the better.
